A subscription news business needed to combine an Arabic-first reading experience with editor tools that could keep pace — fact-checking, translation, SEO, paywall, analytics — in a single system.
Approach
Next.js 16 + Supabase newsroom OS. Native Arabic-first RTL on the front end. Multi-role admin (super admin / editor / writer / finance / advertiser manager). Full subscription lifecycle (trialing → active → past_due → paused → canceled). 23 AI routes embedded across the editorial pipeline.
Outcome
42 tables. 180 API routes. Magazine + ad subsystem. Paywall + promo codes + newsletters. AI fact-check, AI translate, AI SEO competitor gap, AI internal-link suggestions, AI conversion-signal analysis.
